Announcing the 2023 Nominations for the MTV Movie & TV Awards

MTV has recently revealed the nominees for the upcoming 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards. The show will be hosted by Drew Barrymore live from Barker Hangar in Los Angeles on May 7. The nominations cover both film and television categories, with "Top Gun: Maverick," "Stranger Things," and "The Last of Us" leading the way with six nominations each, while "The White Lotus" and "Wednesday" closely follow with four nods each. The awards will also introduce two new categories, Best Reality On-Screen Team and Best Kick-Ass Cast, to give fans even more reasons to tune in. Voting is now open and will close on April 17, with the winners set to be announced on May 7 when the show airs live on MTV. The nominees for the various categories include:
